As you know, we are at the beginning of another hurricane season. The annual Community Hurricane Preparation meeting will take place at the River Club on Monday, June 1st beginning at 4 pm. Speakers will include Fire Chief Frank Giddens, City Manager James Clinch and Chief of County Emergency Management Sandra Tapfumaneyi. This is a unique opportunity to learn about hurricane preparedness from some of the top experts in our city and county.
Please do yourself a favor and learn what you should do to be prepared for what is at this point remains a hurricane season of unknown severity.
